Q: How DO you pronounce Tsukineko?

Q: How can I tell which Tsukineko ink to use with a stamping surface?
A: Tsukineko has developed an “Ink Compatibility Chart”. It helps in the decision of which inks and surfaces to combine for the best stamping experience and optimum results. This chart is available in store at Treasured Memories.
Q: Some Tsukineko ink pads have a plastic liner over them, under the top of the case. Should I throw it away?
A: The plastic liner is important to keep your ink pads fresh. KEEP THEM! The plastic liner is placed on Staz-On and some other Tsukineko ink pads to help minimize evaporation of the inks. For convenience of use, try attaching the plastic liner to the inside of the pad lid, using foam squares or pop-dots. This will prevent loss of the liner and means only one step to closing your ink pad!
Q: Should Tsukineko ink pads be stored upside down?
A: Tsukineko ink pads are designed to be very wet, so it is not necessary to store them upside down.
Q: What is a Dew Drop”
A: Tsukineko makes Versa Magic inks in dew drop shape pads. They are specially shaped to encourage use of multiple colours of inks on one ink pad. The shape’s point allows small spots or part of stamps to be inked, without having to cover the entire stamp. The rounded end is great for shading, blending and covering larger areas.
Q: The dew drop shape is tricky to hold on to. Any tips to help with this?
A: Absolutely! The little ‘feet’ at the rounded end are great to hold with thumb and second finger, planting the first finger at the ‘pointy’ end. This will give a three point grip, the most stable grip achievable! So go ahead, choose the dew drop!
